The AUDIOROOT BC1150 is a high-capacity, portable 6-bay smart battery combiner and sequential charger, designed for use with <100Wh SMBus-compatible Li-ion batteries such as the eSMART Li-49Wh, Li-98Wh, Li-48neo, and Li-96neo. Housed in a compact and rugged Pelicase 1150, this advanced power solution offers up to 588Wh of combined energy, ideal for powering demanding audio setups in the field.

Designed for Location Sound Professionals

The BC1150 enables sound recordists to efficiently combine multiple portable smart batteries into a unified power source for larger equipment configurations. Batteries can be easily hot-swapped for uninterrupted operation, convenient transport, or use with smaller current distributors such as the BG-DH MKII.

The coupler supports mixing different battery types (short 4S1P and long 4S2P) within the same unit, offering flexibility based on your setup and runtime requirements.

Smart Power Management

• DC OUTPUT (XLR4F): Combined power from the batteries is delivered via a single output connector.

• High-priority DC INPUT (XLR4M): An external power supply can override battery power to preserve battery charge.

• Integrated 2 x 4A Sequential Charger: Charges installed batteries automatically without needing removal. Powered via the XLR10F connector (24V input).

Real-Time Monitoring with eINK Display

An integrated eINK display provides real-time insights on:

• Individual battery levels

• Combined charge status

• Current draw

• Internal temperature

• Estimated runtime

Charging Behavior During Operation

The BC1150 supports battery recharging during active use, with the following considerations:

• Full power output + charging is only possible when both the BC1150-24V and BC1150-PSU are connected.

• If only the BC1150-24V is connected, charging is effective only when output current draw is ≤ 4.0A.

• During charging, the device may produce minor operational noise (fan and relay activity).
